    HEAD NURSE PRACTITIONER

    Nicole is from Northeastern Ohio. She attended Youngstown State University where she graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. She furthered her education with a Master’s of Science in Nursing as an Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and is certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Prior to completing her master’s degree, Nicole worked in various settings as a registered nurse including Sentara Heart Hospital, Sentara Norfolk General intensive care unit and Chesapeake Regional cardiac cauterization lab. Nicole moved to the Hampton Roads area in 2012 with her husband who is serving his country in the United States Navy. In her free time she enjoys working out, cooking, traveling and spending time with her husband and two children.

    SHANNON ALLISON DPT, MT

    DOCTOR OF PHYSICAL THERAPY

    Shannon has a unique background as a massage therapist, manual therapist, and dancing queen. Her post-graduate studies after completing Physical Therapy School, led her to extensive integrative and osteopathic manual therapy training. She enjoys evaluating multiple systems, looking at the layers of tissue dysfunction, and guiding the body to unwind with gentle manipulation to find symmetry and balance. Her dance background in ballet, tap, jazz, African and modern dance has helped her gain an appreciation for postural control and efficient movement. She understands the value of utilizing corrective exercises to maximize movement longevity. Making a positive difference in people's life experiences is very rewarding for her. Shannon's personal philosophy is one of growth and balance and she enjoys finding the solution to someone's physical problem. Nationally certified massage therapist for 20 years and worked in various chiropractic, rehab and massage therapy practices. Extensive training in Integrative Manual Therapy, Osteopathic Manual Therapy after receiving her DPT, including courses on the spine.

    AARON ACHEY PT, DPT, Cert. DN, AIB-VR

    DOCTOR OF PHYSICAL THERAPY

    Dr. Arron attended the University of Maine for his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology, where he played football and was introduced to the world of injuries and physical rehab. He underwent multiple surgeries and experienced years of chronic pain until he was introduced to a more holistic, integrative approach to support his body from the inside out. Once he made changes to his nutrition, and addressed other aspects of his lifestyle such as sleep quality and stress management, his quality of life shifted dramatically. Effective physical therapy along with these integrative factors resolved his chronic pain, and gave him more energy and joy for life than he knew was possible. Arron went on to complete his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Stony Brook University in Long Island, NY, has additional certifications in Dry Needling and advanced training and strength & conditioning and performance therapy. He has experience working at outpatient clinics all around the country giving him a well rounded skill set.

    ASHLEY NGUYEN

    PHYSICAL THERAPY ASSISTANT

    Ashley is a Northern Michigan native who has had a passion for health and fitness her entire life. She has an extensive background in Physical Therapy with experience in Orthopedics, sports medicine, Pelvic floor therapy, and Pilates-based rehabilitation. Ashley received her degree from Mott Community College as a Physical Therapist Assistant in 2010. Ashley later furthered her knowledge in Physical Therapy by completing her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapist Assistant (BSPTA) from Pima Medical Institute in 2021. Ashley is currently working towards becoming a certified Pilates instructor. Ashley is passionate about providing care that is catered to each individual patient to address their unique needs to return to enjoying their daily lives with decreased pain and improved function. She believes each patient deserves to be treated with compassion and kindness when navigating through the difficulties of an injury.

    In her free time, she enjoys staying active with her husband, two children, and doberman named Sunny. Their favorite activities include staying fit with various types of exercise, spending the day at the beach and going on hikes. When not outdoors, she can be found reading, cooking, and crafting.

    FRONT OFFICE MANAGER

    Growing up in Whitehall, Pennsylvania, Kaytlyn has always wanted to work in the healthcare industry. As the wife of a U.S. Navy Sailor, she moved to Chesapeake, Virginia in 2019 and became a mother to a beautiful daughter shortly after. She has her sights set on a bachelor’s degree within the field, which will enable her to further her career & provide quality medical care to the community. She can be described as ambitious, caring, customer service oriented, all of which are reflected in her work ethic. She enjoys spending her spare time around her family and friends.

    RECEPTIONIST

    Jennifer is originally from Western Pennsylvania where she earned a Master’s in Education from the University of Pittsburgh and a Doctorate in Leadership from Youngstown State University. She spent the last 25 years as a Reading Specialist and Professor of Education. She resides in North Carolina with her husband, a retired Navy Senior Chief, her 13-year-old daughter, and her three dogs. In her spare time, she teaches classes at the local community college and is an active sports mom.
